My wife was angry with me:
"You always forget the birthdays of your kids
and when you don't forget it,
you only make a one minute phone call..."
Now she has put a reminder sticker on my computer screen
for when she is in Holland for 14 days..,
because one of them has
his birthday
in
that period..
I thought: "What can I do...?

He phoned me directly back when he received it.

You are a writer!”
It was the first compliment from him in my life
and in 14 days I wrote my memoirs....,
eight hundred pages.....
