advertises its unpleasant taste to would-be predators.
The male is differentiated from the female by having
less black on its wings.
Food: Caterpillars feed on the Loranthus plant which
grows semi-parasitically on roadside trees.
Habitat: Forests and urban areas, normally seen flying
high in the tree tops. |
