Our second
trip to Toraja Land,
- this time with Leo and Martha- was in 2007.
Again a problem hit the Indonesian tourist industry:
The European Union banned Indonesian carriers
to enter their airspace,
and prohibited their inhabitants
to use Indonesian airplanes inside Indonesia.
The only big International Airports are Jakarta and Bali.
Lombok and Manado have a Silk flight connection
with Singapore a few times a week...
Tanah Toraja is 1000 km from Manado in the North.
So we were again the only tourists there... |
